Terry Beaupré has been taking photographs all of her life. She bought her first camera for 79 cents from a local convenience store at the age of 6. In 2004 she began to “get serious” about photography. Since then she has become a member of 2 photography clubs, has taken several workshops and studied classic art, as well as taking several photography courses at Langara College.
Terry was born and has lived most of her life in the Vancouver area and is interested in several types of photography, including nature, artistic, landscapes and some studio work. She loves experimenting with new techniques and lighting. Inspired by the Impressionistic era (particularly Monet, Degas and Renoir) she strives to evoke a sense of calmness and relaxation in her work, while making pleasing and unique photographs.
About Drain Cover: While walking on the Spirit Trail in North Vancouver, I noticed this unusual and artistic looking drain cover. I believe all the drain covers on the Spirit Trail are shaped like this, very decorative.
