Jim Lowrie is a photographer of Scottish origin who has spent the majority of his life in greater Vancouver. An avid cyclist, hiker and lifelong learner, Jim became interested in photography at a very early age, and after a successful career in civil engineering is devoting much of his time to creating images of the Pacific Northwest and of international travels. Jim strives to present the simplicity of shadow and light within complex natural landscapes and the urban realm. Jim’s most current work can be found on flickr.
