In a fast-paced environment, I feel the need to hold on to something, to capture a moment, an idea, or a story of a place. Photography for me is journaling with images and documenting at the same time, so it has become an extension of my personal journey.
I joined PhotoClub Vancouver in 2018. I am interested in creating work that invites to pause and ponder. I enjoy working with my Canon Rebel, which, in itself, is an invitation to explore, and I use PhotoScapeX for soft postprocessing. The photographs in this exhibition are contrasting view points (or points of view?) in North America (Illusions) and Eastern Europe (Top of the Dome and Cotton Candy).
